Voltek has many years of experience with electrical installations in both commercial and domestic sectors. All our electricians are fully qualified and keep up to date with the ever-changing regulations. Each member of the team takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys what they do.
Much of our return business is from main contractors. They know and appreciate that Voltek will work with them to find solutions to problems as and when they arise. We are used to dealing with project managers and site management as well as working together with all the other trades on-site.
We are also used to dealing directly with the end user and enjoy helping them through the important decision-making process. We take the time to sit down with the client and make sure that the finished product is right for them and their needs. We make sure that the client is given a full understanding of what products are available and let them draw on our expertise and experience.
We are NICEIC Approved contractors & Domestic Installers. This means that we are regularly inspected and vetted, with inspections taking place at our worksites and our business practice. We can issue all necessary certification and are Part P approved. Part P is a legal requirement in all domestic dwellings and all new installations come with a 10-year insurance backed warranty for the fixed wiring.
Inspection & Testing
As an NICEIC approved contractor we can carry out all types of inspection and testing and issue the relevant certification. We can advise you on the requirements and help make sure that you are getting the correct paper work for your premises.
As well as issuing the correct certification for your installation we will make sure that you receive a digestible report along with remedial actions and cost estimates.
Types of test & inspections:
Electrical Condition Report – this is a report on the current condition of the installation. It will highlight any short falls and deviations from the most current regulations. We will include any observations and recommendations will be listed with a level of priority. This is often needed when selling or buying a home and when renting a property.
Visual Inspection Report – this is a less detailed inspection. It will give an idea of the condition based on a mainly visual check.

Fault Finding
We can help with fault finding and problems with your fixed electrical installation. We use our experience and a methodical approach to find faults and find a solution to the problem.
Electrical Design
We can fully design any electrical installation from concept to completion. We can mark-up drawings and do all the calculations required to ensure a safe, compliant and functional installation. This includes lighting levels, emergency lighting and control systems.
Lighting Solutions
With the introduction of LED lighting into the market, many electricians have been left out dated and unsure of this very rapid evolving technology. We pride ourselves on being bang up to date with this latest technology and lighting control systems. We have good relationships with the best manufacturers and make sure that we use the best lighting products and control systems for a project.
We can also work with many intelligent lighting control systems including Lutron, Dali and Rako.
Fire & Security
Voltek can install both domestic and commercial fire detection systems and interlinking controls for AOV and other fire protection devices.
Voltek also offer a wide range of CCTV solutions including IP based systems.
We work with tried and tested sub-contractors to offer intruder alarm systems and security solutions.
